The “Brampton Battle” has started off our Racquetball season, and what a battle it was for all divisions. Welcome back Brampton to the Ontario tournament circuit!
Thank you to all who participated and volunteered their time making the Battle of Brampton a success. Special thank you Jesús Ostos for organizing the tournament and to the sponsors including; City of Brampton Racquetball Association, PANAS Wellness Center Inc. (St.Catharines) and Shahid Baloch from Zolo Realty (Brampton).
That said, here are the results from the Battle of Brampton!
The open division was a Round Robin followed by Single Elimination. The format was Double Elimination for the “A, B and C” Divisions.
Open Division – Christian Pocsai (New Hamburg)
Christian Pocsai defeated Matthew Forstner in a tie breaker with the final score 11 – 9!
“A” Division – German Herrera (St. Catharines)
“B” Division – Gurpreet Bal (Brampton)
“C” Division – Sai Srinivas Kotni (Brampton)
